A year after no Israeli TV shows were featured at all – Anti-Israel protesters crashed the screeing of “The German” at the Series Mania festival in France shouting “Israel is a murderer” and waving Palestinian flags.
Interruptions by pro-Palestinians
The audience present responded with boos toward the protesters’ interruptions, but this did not deter them.
“Instead of demonstrating outside, they just entered the auditorium and repeatedly disrupted the event,” audience members told Ynet.
Last year, for the first time in the festival’s history, no Israeli productions participated in the festival. Or organizers claimed this was due to “a lack of submissions because of the war,” Israeli sources suggested the festival’s producers were “afraid.”
