High school principals from the Teachers’ Organization, the National Student Council and parent leadership have sent a letter to Education Minister Yoav Kish requesting he adopt their proposal to replace matriculation exams with a protective grade. This comes against the backdrop of the war with Iran and Kish’s expected publication of the matriculation exam outline. In their appeal, they wrote: “Students have been unable to study regularly over the past two weeks. These conditions make optimal preparation for matriculation exams difficult and violate their right to be tested under fair conditions.”
