Two Border Police officers were arrested on suspicion of stealing weapons, including ammunition rounds, from a Border Police base and selling them on multiple occasions. The two were questioned under caution for suspected weapons trafficking offenses. Additionally, a Border Police officer was questioned under caution for suspected involvement in similar offenses and released with restrictions. Along with them, two civilians were arrested, one of whom is a relative of one of the officers, on suspicion of involvement in the case. Today, the detention of the two officers and one of the civilians was extended.
