President Isaac Herzog condemned the settler riots in Benjamin last night, during which they threw stones at soldiers and attempted to run them over. According to him, “Attacking IDF soldiers and security forces is a serious and dangerous act. There is no justification for violence against those who dedicate their lives to defending the security of the state. I thank the IDF forces and reserve soldiers under the command of the battalion commander, Lieutenant Colonel G. who have served hundreds of reserve days since the outbreak of the war, and expect a thorough investigation that will bring to justice anyone who broke the law.”
