US President Donald Trump told reporters in Washington that he is “not rushing to talk with Iran, despite their willingness.” According to him, the reason is that the US “destroyed Iran’s nuclear sites.” The American president also addressed the Russia-Ukraine war, noting that weapons his country is transferring to Kyiv “are already on the way.” He also said that “NATO will pay us back for everything, and we won’t have troops on the ground there,” adding that he has not spoken with Russian President Vladimir Putin since announcing on Monday that he would impose sanctions on Moscow. “Putin has not proven the claim that he wants peace,” he added.
