U.S. President Donald Trump announced on his social media platform Truth Social that he will meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin on August 15 in Alaska. “The much-anticipated meeting between me, as President of the United States of America, and Russian President Vladimir Putin, will take place next Friday, August 15, 2025, in the great state of Alaska,” Trump wrote, adding: “More details to follow.”
