Police dashcam footage caught the moment the quad bike was driven into the bonnet

A man has been arrested after a quad bike was used to ram a police car and flip over the bonnet.

Officers spotted the vehicle with no registration plate at about 21:00 BST on Tuesday on Butler Crescent in Kensington, Liverpool, Merseyside Police said.

The rider rode off but when police caught up he rammed their vehicle, reversed into a parked car and then rammed the police car a second time, narrowly missing an officer.

A 29-year-old man from Everton was arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving and other driving offences after flipping the quad bike over on the bonnet of the police car.
