A man has been arrested after a quad bike was used to ram a police car and flip over the bonnet.
Officers spotted the vehicle with no registration plate at about 21:00 BST on Tuesday on Butler Crescent in Kensington, Liverpool, Merseyside Police said.
The rider rode off but when police caught up he rammed their vehicle, reversed into a parked car and then rammed the police car a second time, narrowly missing an officer.
A 29-year-old man from Everton was arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving and other driving offences after flipping the quad bike over on the bonnet of the police car.

Merseyside Police said he was also held on suspicion of acquiring, using or possessing criminal property.
The force said the suspect was taken to hospital for assessment then later discharged.
