U.S. President Donald Trump said at the White House, with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky by his side, that “Europe is the first line of defense, but we will be involved in security.” Trump also referenced Russian President Vladimir Putin, noting: “If everything works out as it should, we’ll have a trilateral meeting. I think progress has been made.” Zelensky responded: “We need to stop the war. I am ready for a trilateral meeting.”
