U.S. President Donald Trump summarized the White House summit between him, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and European leaders, describing it as “very good.” He noted that the parties discussed “security guarantees that European countries will provide to Ukraine, in coordination with the U.S.” Trump claimed that “everyone is happy about the possibility of peace for Russia and Ukraine,” adding: “After the meeting, I called Putin and preparations began for a meeting between him and Zelensky, at a location to be determined. After that meeting, we will hold a trilateral meeting between the two presidents and myself.”
