International Space Station captures striking view of Hurricane Erin

The International Space Station captured Hurricane Erin as it traveled northwest through the Caribbean, with sustained wind speeds of 105 mph. The hurricane is now generating dangerous rip currents from Florida to New England, but it is not expected to make landfall in the US. Forecasters have also warned of possible life-threatening flooding along the country’s mid-Atlantic coast.
