A terrorist fired at a group of Israeli shepherds Thursday morning at the Malachei HaShalom outpost in the Binyamin region of the West Bank, the IDF reported. Following the attack, a violent confrontation developed between the terrorist and the citizens, according to the IDF.
Magen David Adom treated a 20-year-old wounded man at the scene, who was in light condition, with a minor head injury. He may also have been hit by stones. He was evacuated to a hospital for further treatment.

According to eyewitness accounts, the suspect is a masked man who fired a gun and fled to a Palestinian village near the outpost. IDF soldiers have encircled the village of Al Mughayyir along with additional areas and are currently conducting searches to locate the terrorist.
