A child is in critical condition following a road traffic collision in County Antrim.
Police said the incident involving a young girl and a blue coloured Hyundai car, happened at around 20:55 BST on Thursday evening on the Larne Road, Carrickfergus.
The girl was taken to hospital for treatment to her injuries.
Police said enquires are ongoing.
