The all-time record in electricity consumption was broken when usage reached 15,806 megawatts, according to data from Noga, Israel’s Electrical Grid Administrator. The previous record was set on August 13, 2023, standing at 15,694 megawatts. During the current peak consumption, total production from renewable energy sources stood at 4,310 megawatts, reflecting the significant contribution of renewable energies to Israel’s electricity sector.
