Belgium’s Foreign Minister Maxim Prevot summoned Israeli Ambassador to Brussels, Idit Rosenzweig-Abu, following the Cabinet’s decision to take control of Gaza. Prevot stated that he “completely disagrees with the decision taken and also with Israel’s ongoing colonization in its desire to annex, among other things, the West Bank.” According to him, “We must act decisively to convince Israel to back down from its intentions.”
