The headquarters for the families of the hostages sharply criticized Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who they claim is “trying to create a false impression that a comprehensive agreement cannot be reached, in complete contradiction to the will of the people. This is how the sabotage attempt begins. Unfortunately, we’ve seen this movie before, not once and not twice. The government fails time after time to bring back the hostages because of narrow political interests, while hiding behind empty slogans and baseless illusions.” The headquarters emphasized that “more than 80% of the people want an agreement that will end the fighting and return all the hostages. Anyone who sabotages such an agreement is acting maliciously against the will of the Israeli people for political survival, and this is how history will remember him.”
