Hundreds of Druze arrived at the Syrian border near Majdal Shams overnight, and dozens of them managed to get past army forces and enter Syrian territory. Some were drunk, used violence against IDF soldiers and pushed them. Throughout the day, IDF forces remained in the area to prevent gatherings there, alongside a small police force that has now been reinforced. Security officers and Druze community leaders from the Golan are helping commanders disperse the gathering and convey messages to the rioters.
