A 6.5 mile (10.5km) stretch of the M5 has been closed after a crash, police have said.
Devon and Cornwall Police said both directions of the motorway between junction 28 at Cullompton and junction 29 at the A30 had been closed on Sunday morning after an accident involving an overturned caravan and a number of vehicles.
They said no-one was thought to have been seriously injured but the northbound carriageway had been closed to allow the air ambulance to land.
The northbound section was later opened but the southbound carriageway remained closed while debris was cleared, they added.
