The Hostage Families Forum attacked the Cabinet’s decision to expand the war and capture Gaza City, saying that “the Israeli government has tonight issued a death sentence for the living hostages.”
The forum further stated that “capturing the Gaza Strip is an official declaration of abandoning the hostages, while completely ignoring repeated warnings from the military echelon. This is a deception and a moral and security abandonment that is unforgivable, we will not stand idly by.”
