US Ambassador to Israel Mike Hackaby visited Soroka Hospital in Be’er Sheva, which was hit by an Iranian missile last week, and said that “this medical center is an amazing miracle. A missile hit in such a way and caused extensive damage to the complex – and there are almost no casualties.” Hackaby was later asked if US President Donald Trump would impose sanctions on Israel’s judicial system following his call to cancel Netanyahu’s trial, and he replied to ynet: “I say amen to Trump’s words. I will let his statements stand on their own.”
