Families of hostages met for the first time with White House Chief of Staff Suzanne Wells and White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre. The President’s Middle East envoy, Steve Witkoff, also attended the meeting. Former hostage Tal Shoham and families of hostages Guy Gilboa-Dalal, Evyatar David and Omer Neutra participated in the meeting. Witkoff, Wells and Jean-Pierre expressed deep solidarity with the families and emphasized the Trump administration’s full commitment to securing the release of all 58 hostages. The three also expressed deep shock over the terror attack that occurred last Sunday at the hostage solidarity march in Colorado and condemned the act of terror.
