The IDF spokesperson confirmed strikes were conducted against Hezbollah terror targets in southern Lebanon, including weapons storage facilities, a launcher and infrastructure where engineering equipment was stored – which was used for rehabilitating terror infrastructure in the area. The IDF stated that the terrorist organization continues attempting to rebuild terror infrastructure throughout Lebanon, while endangering Lebanese civilians and using them as human shields. “The presence of weapons and Hezbollah terrorist organization activity in the area constitutes a violation of the understandings between Israel and Lebanon,” the military added.
