More than 100 international organizations have signed a document distributed to international media, claiming that Israel has been blocking humanitarian aid from entering the Gaza Strip during the war for months, and that most of them have been unable to bring in aid since March. They claim that Israel rejected dozens of requests to bring in aid because they are “not authorized” to do so, and has left aid worth millions of dollars in warehouses. COGAT stated: “The reality is completely opposite. A new mechanism for bringing in aid has been developed in the Israeli security system, aimed at ensuring that aid reaches the population directly and not Hamas.”
