The supermarket chain Coop Alleanza 3.0 in Italy announced the removal of Israeli products from its shelves across eight regions throughout the country. The chain has 350 branches spread across eight regions in Italy, and claims the decision came in response to the worsening humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip. In a press release, the large chain stated: “We cannot remain indifferent to the ongoing violence, and in the shadow of the escalation in recent weeks, we have chosen to make a symbolic gesture that aligns with our values.”
