Man stung by venomous fish near Palmachim Beach in Rishon Lezion area, condition stab


A 40-year-old man was stung by a venomous fish while surfing in the sea near Palmachim Beach in the Rishon Lezion area. MDA paramedics provided medical treatment and evacuated him to Shamir Medical Center (Assaf Harofeh) in Beer Yaakov, where he was suffering from an allergic reaction. Paramedics Saar Shai and Uri Gabriel said: “We arrived at the beach and saw a fully conscious man with sting marks on his hand at the clinic. A medic at the scene had already begun administering first aid. We were told he was stung in the water by a lionfish, which is a venomous and dangerous fish. He was in pain and showing signs of an allergic reaction. We provided supportive medical treatment and evacuated him to the hospital in stable condition.”
