Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is currently meeting with Deputy Minister Almog Cohen in an effort to prevent his resignation from the government, which has not yet taken effect. Cohen submitted his resignation claiming that the “deep state” is preventing the establishment of an airport in Nevatim, and he will return to the Knesset to advance the issue through legislation.
