US President Donald Trump has signed an executive order to eliminate “improper, divisive, or anti-American ideology” from the Smithsonian Institutions museums, centres and the National Zoo in Washington.
The BBC went to the National Museum of American History and National Museum of African American History and Culture in Washington DC to ask visitors what “anti-American” means to them.
