U.S. President Donald Trump is considering reclassifying marijuana as a less dangerous drug, the Wall Street Journal reported citing sources familiar with the matter. According to the report, at a fundraising event at his golf club in New Jersey earlier this month, Trump told participants he is interested in making the change. It was also reported that one of the guests at the fundraising event was Kim Rivers, CEO of Trulieve, one of the largest marijuana companies in the U.S., who encouraged Trump to make the change and expand research in the field of medical marijuana.
